UPDATE AFTER CLOSING: I finally closed on my apartment (!) early January 2016, so I wanted to update my review:

This review is for an associate of the team, Ms. Christiam Velez. I feel like the real estate gods smiled on me because I called her by chance, and then she turned out to be the
kindest and most helpful realtor I could hope for.

This was my first time purchasing an apartment, and Christiam was there with me the whole way through. I’m detail-oriented so I always had a lot of questions, and she was very patient and took the time to answer everything. She took me to several different listings, and for the ones I was more interested in, she also took the time to drive me around the area and show me the neighborhood. She kept me informed as the whole process moved forward, and also reached out on my behalf as needed when things were taking longer than they should.

I had no idea what an involved (and sometimes very stressful!) process it would be to purchase a co-op, but Christiam was such a huge help in that regard. I felt like she was truly looking out for me, and I cannot recommend her (or her big smile!) enough!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: It was by complete chance that I found Christiam Velez, who I called after seeing a listing I was interested in. I had absolutely no idea about the apartment buying process, so I was very lucky that I found her! From day one she was extremely helpful, letting me know the steps needed to even begin the search (pre-approval, etc), and was always very timely in her responses to any of my questions. Being a first time buyer (and a detail-oriented person) I had a lot of questions; she answered each of them and laid out the entire process step by step, so I could have an idea of what to expect. I hope to be having my co-op board interview soon, so the process isn’t completely finished yet, but I can still say with complete confidence that Christiam is a wonderful realtor and a kind person. I very much recommend her!
