While pursuing his doctorate degree in political science, at New York University, events and opportunity led Shoa into the world of international advertising. His endeavors include executive advertising and the ownership of a restaurant in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Having lived in Westchester County for quite some time, his hobbies include gardening, tennis, reading, and spending time with his two daughters.
