Our journey to buying a house was delayed due to several favtors – including Covid, as well as a complicated situation involving 2 generations looking to find their new homes. Throughout it all, Alexandra was with us every step of the way, offering sound advice, guidance and support – ultimately helping to keep us sane! Alexandra is professional, kind, supportive, understanding, patient (never pushy, which was important to us), and more like a friend than a realtor. Alexandra assisted my family with purchasing a historic townhome in the Bronx. Most of the prior agents we had dealt with in New York City were subpar. Alexandra helped me and my family purchase a home in the Bronx. She was a pleasure to work with! She is extremely diligent, responsive and organized. Alexandra handled a residential real estate transaction on our behalf. It was NOT simple. Our home and land were comprised of four (4) lots, and and two of the four lots were located on two municipalities. The zoning and real property tax issues were complicated. There was a possibility of two or three of the lots being “buildable” which meant that Alexandra was working with potential builders as well as buyers interested only in the property as a private home. She did an excellent job with regard to both groups of prospective buyers. One of the municipalities records relating to building permits and certificates of occupancy were disorganized and incomplete. Alexandra was able to obtain accurate and current information from both municipalities. Our neighborhood is comprised of older homes, on various sized lots, in various states of condition. Pricing was complicated and Alexandra was spot on in her advice regarding our asking price. The result was a modest “bidding war” which resulted,I am confident, in our obtaining the highest price for our home. There was an issue regarding one of the offers and Alexandra suggested that we (the buyer and seller) meet in order to clarify the issues that were complicating the transaction. An excellent suggestion, with positive results. Alexandra’s service was outstanding in all respects. She was attentive beyond any question. She is honest and very smart. I would recommend her to any prospective seller or buyer, without any hesitation whatsoever.

Ms. Fischer, is one of the most impressive agent I know. She has a lot of expertise and knowledge and made the process for us so smooth. She responded immediately when we needed her. Her negotiation skills are excellent. I would not recommend any other realtor if you need one, and believe me I know a lot of realtors since we have bought and sold many times. I’m not the “reviewing” type, but Alexandra needed to be reviewed. While looking for realtors we did a lot of research and found Alexandra because of a reference through my husbands coworker. She was amazing. Always available to talk, understood what I was think with only a few words, she had great knowledge and was very insightful. I would highly recommend her and am looking forward to using her again!

Alexandra is very responsive as she gets back to you immediately. She is one of the few people I’ve worked with who actually consistently answers her phone instead of letting it go to voicemail! Alexandra was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a very long and tedious process to get to closing (with regards to an old oil tank on the property that had leaked, and the required clean up before we were prepared to close). Her knowledge of the Westchester market is unsurpassed. During the stressful inspections and contract negotiations, she is patient, level-headed and never loses her composure. She will hold your hand through the entire process. I was looking for a rental, became a homeowner, and ended up with a friend. It was a pleasure to work with Alexandra when we were looking for a house to rent. always pleasant, responding to our questions and willing to show listing houses in the required time.

Alexandra worked with me for 2 years to find the home I purchased. She worked within the parameters of my odd schedule and generally was always able to fulfill my last minute requests for showings. She did a great job of giving me space to take some time away from the house hunting but did occasionally check-in to see if I was ready to start up again. Her communication is good as is her knowledge of the areas she shows in. I had a great experience and have no hesitation in recommending her.

I never like looking at reviews because the are either great or awful without providing any significantly useful information in the review. Ms. Fischer earned 5 stars in my opinion for the following reasons: 1-I was in the process of moving my elderly parents from New York to live with me in Georgia and Ms. Fischer is knowledgeable about the New York market and upon a thoughrough evaluation of the house she provided a detailed list of changes, improvements suggested to obtain the best selling price. For example, the house was fully carpeted with hardwoods underneath and removing the carpet increased the appeal of the house. 2-Ms. Fischer also provided a timeline for the process to play out in order to be able to list the house at a time that would best benefit us as sellers. hardwoods underneath. 3- due to the fact that I was out of state, It could have been a terrible experience if Ms. Fischer was not such a responsive and exceptional communication. 4-Ms. Fischer is a consummate professional with the highest ethical standard which should be a given but in my experience is rare these days. 5- I must admit when Ms. Fischer told me what she was going to list the house for I was skeptical. She assured me that she could be trusted to negotiate to get our true desired price or very close. Ms. Fischer was on target based on her intricate knowledge of the market 6-Ms. Fischer knows her business, is dedicated to her client, has exceptional communication and responsiveness, she is ethical and provides excellent contractor resources. The 5 stars don’t tell the whole story but I hope the explanations above will be helpful to other sellers and buyers for that matter.
